VisBAR : a python-based visualization tool for material science
VisBAR(=Visualization tool with Ball, Arrow and Rods) is
Python-based visualization tools for quantum-mechanical nanomaterial simulations.
VisBAR was developed as a set of simple tools that can be customized or extended
by material science researchers according to their own purposes.
- VisBAR wave batch
Visualization tool for electronic wavefunctions with atomic structure.
The tool was developed for
the batch (sequential) visualization of many data files in the Gaussian cube format.
Example (below): HOMO wavefunction of vibrating C6H6 (benzene).

- VisBAR standard (to appear later)
Visualization tool for research use.
The tool was developed mainly for the collaboration with
ELSES,
our own simulation software.
- Current main developper : Seiya Yokoyama (Tottori U)
- VisBAR edu (tentatively, japanese page only)
A small (one-hundred-line) visualization tool.
The tool was used in undergraduate-level education of computational science.
